Career and Employment Services

The Career and Employment Services Centre provides assistance to Unemployed and marginally employed Albertans who have multiple barriers to employment. Eligible participants must be Alberta residents, legally entitled to work in Canada, and be ready, willing and able to work in competitive employment a minimum of 15 hours per week.

Services are available Monday – Friday from 9:00 am – 4:00 pm

Services are FREE of charge and include:

  • Cover letter development or revisions
  • Online applications
  • Information Services
  • Computer Training
  • Mock Interviews
  • Access to referral services
  • In-house and online job board
  • Short Courses

 

The Career and Employment Services Centre offers confidential one-on-one career and educational coaching sessions to community members who are seeking assistance in planning and discovering options for career and educational goals. Call 403-223-1169 to set up an appointment or drop in.
